Italian entrepreneurs willing to work in Iran

TEHRAN, March 2 (MNA) – Italian agricultural entrepreneurs have announced their willingness to cooperate with Iran.

Representatives of more than 20 Italian agriculture-related industries and entrepreneurship firms had visited Mahmoud Hojjati, Iran’s Minister of Agriculture in Rome to discuss the possible ways of cooperation with Iran.

The Secretary-General of Iran and Italia’s joint chamber of commerce, who was visiting Iran along with a delegation of 15 Italian company managers, told that the chamber was willing to work with Iran.

Mahmoud Hojjati pointed to Iran’s capacities in agriculture. “Iran welcomes Italian companies active in agriculture and is ready to cooperate with them,” he added. “Iran hails any investment in its agricultural sector and the products would find markets in neighboring countries,” he asserted.

Hojjati invited Italian companies for a visit to Tehran for close examination of Iran’s market and capacity. Hojjati is in Rome to attend the 32nd FAO conference and visited Italian agricultural machinery industries.
